Today I was learned about DBSM (database management system).The DBSM is part of Microsoft office suit. Its structure makes the information easy to select, sort, and display. As your information, database is a collection data which has been organised so that computer can quickly select. But, DBMS is a software tool to manage incoming data, and provide ways for the data to be modified. Other than that, my lectures also teach about the Microsoft office but our time is to short so my lectures delay it next week. ASSALAMUALIKUM,,

Today I was learned about database. Database is, an organizer collection of information. Database is a place to store data. It also one of the component system and electronic filing system like, you put your entire note in a file. For example, dictionary.Other than that, school and, university, they a use database for component system. Function of database is  to control and to organize. In their, have 2 important thing that we need to remember, Data item and schema. Data item is a fill value of database is a content database and schema is, describe disorganization relationship database but they always call ERD(entities relationship diagram)in database have database terminology, the database terminology have 6 term that we have to know.Its:Field,Record,Key field,Table,Rational database and objects. The example of DBMS is, Microsoft excel, oracle, IBM DB2 & MYSQL.

WEEK 6Bibiliography   

ASSALAMUALAIKUM,

Today I was learn about bibliography. It’s like the APA Report Style that I was learn in the previous semester. In  there have 3 rules  that we have to remember!!!!!

1.    TITLE

Ø Its mean, Capitalize only the first letter of the first word of title, proper noun and subtitle.

Ø Underline or italic the Title of books, Title of Journal, Title of Magazines, Title of newspaper

2. AUTHOR

Its mean, we have to start with family name for authors which have family name and follow with comma.

For example:

o   Michael Jackson-Jackson,M.(Jackson is family name, so we have to start with family name  and follow with comma then, follow with his name)

o   Aisha syufian   -Aisha syufian(syufian is not family name, but her father name)

3.   DOCUMENTATION

It like, one author, two author, three to six authors and more than six author.

But, for two author we have to put(&)

For example:

Stewart, T., & Biffle, G. (1999).

      

And for more than six authors we have to put (et.al)

For example;

Smith, M., Flanagan, F., Judd, A., Burstyn, E., Bullock, S., Knight, S., et al. (2002).

  

4. APA STYLE WITH MICROSOFT WORD

Other than that, I also learn  how to make APA style with Microsoft word.

Ø 1.Open references

Ø 2.Click insert citation

Ø 3.Add new source (choose what categories you want)

Ø 4.When you finish, press the bibliography

Ø 5.And finish

WEEK 5   IS (INFORMATION SYSTEM)

Assalamualaikum,

TPS (transaction processing system)

TPS is, Information system that captures and processes data. Other than that it also computer base(CB) information  system. A transaction is a business  activity such as, a deposit ,payment ,order and reservation.

For example:

Student registration    responds       printing a student’s schedule

Customer order            responds       sending a thank you note to customer

DSS (decision support system)

A collection of people, procedures, software, database, and devices. Its, used to support problem specific decision making. Other than that, DSS help provide information to support such decision. 

                      

MIS (management information system)

Collection of people, procedures, databases and devices that provides managers and decision. Function of MIS is, help organization achieve goals. But sometimes they called MIS is MRS (management reporting system).

ESS (executive expert system)

I also don’t understand about in this part. Sorry because I’m cannot explain about it.
